Chef's Favorite Books

These are cookbooks & reference books I've found useful. The first four are the best ones for the excited beginners, and the rest are intended for more specific applications. I would be happy to include your favorite book here, let me know and I'll include it in my next updaaaaaaaate!

Sara Foster's Southern Kitchen

[my review]
"The photos are positively lickable, and since I'm typing this at half past noon and I've not yet had lunch, it's a struggle to keep from doing exactly that."
Pressure Cooker Perfection

This book offers a lot, owing to ATK's style of giving detailed instructions and explanations. Some recipes are even pot-to-table easy, even if they aren't written in the set-it-and-forget-it style of the Instant Pot.
Small-Batch Baking

Ever had a book you loved so much you gladly let someone borrow it, and had to buy another copy because you couldn't live without it? That's this book. You can't even get it on Amazon anymore, but I have to share it with you.
